DISPATCHER

POSITION DUTIES:

Working from the office required

Looking for direct freight accounts using various load boards.

Creating and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and customers.

Ability to negotiate for the best rates possible.

Dispatch drivers after finding loads for them.

Tracking and tracing loads that are booked and in transit.

Building good relationships with the drivers.

Help drivers solve issues that occur OTR.

Learning and understanding market rates.

Think ahead and plan 2-3 days in advance for trucks.

AT LEAST
3
YEARS OF OTR DISPATCH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Understanding (or learning) DOT regulations.

Strong communication & negotiation skills.

Being able to navigate on 2-3 computer screens with emails, load boards, and different operating systems at the same time.

EXCELLENT multi-tasking, time management, and organization skills.

Able to accept constructive criticism.

Able to work in a fast paced team environment.

Being on time, prompt, and prepared on a daily basis.

LANGUAGE:

English required.

Spanish will be an advantage.
