Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a multinational organization within its EMEA region.You will be a key player in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Payroll Manager Tasks Implement EMEA payroll operations aligned with global strategy and HR objectives. Lead a team of 10-12, supported by 3-4 supervisors, ensuring service efficiency and risk mitigation while scaling the Budapest team. Collaborate with vendors for accurate, timely payroll processing. Ensure compliance with tax and labor laws, resolving payroll issues proactively. Oversee payroll reporting, tax documentation, and compliance manuals. Work with Legal, Compliance, and Benefits teams to manage risks. Drive process improvements, modernize payroll metrics, and enhance employee experience. Develop best practices, KPIs, and SLA metrics. Mentor and develop the payroll team for operational excellence. Own operational and SOX controls, ensuring compliance. Manage payroll projects within deadlines and budgets. Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data. Requirements College or university degree 8-10 years of experience in international HR / Payroll min. 3 years leadership experience extensive understanding in payroll processes, systems and international operations previous involvement with global payroll systems, preferably Workday or equivalent enterprise HR platforms are highly desirable fluent English both in written and oral full proficiency in Excel excellent problem solving skills outstanding communication abilities Offers What we Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
