Job Description
Do you want to help support a high quality of work with socially critical public data, and do you have a technical interest? Then you have the opportunity to become a clerk in the Digitalization Agency's office for technology and data to work with Datavejviser. Office for Technology and Data (KTD) You will become part of an office with approx. 30 colleagues. KTD consists of employees in all age groups and with many different educational backgrounds, and our work is based on good cooperation and collegiality. The office's main tasks are particularly focused on data, technology and digital architecture and include e.g. to: ensure a good foundation for the development of artificial intelligence through the display of Danish language resources and support for its use, as well as a number of other measures related to artificial intelligence develop standardized display of public data and thereby ensure increased use of public data develop strategic measures to promote common semantic standards, architecture etc. develop and disseminate joint public architecture standards and principles influence and implement current and future plans from the EU Commission, including the Data Regulation, the Interoperability Regulation etc. support the agency's transition to a more agile culture and organization. As part of a politically controlled organisation, the office must also be able to contribute to the political direction, for example through political interventions and background analyses. However, a large part of our work consists of ensuring that the adopted policy is implemented in practice. Your duties This role provides the opportunity to work with the office's display of public data. Public data is absolutely central to many of the welfare services provided by the public sector, just as it can greatly contribute to innovation and development in the private sector. With a secure and coordinated use of public data, it is possible to raise the quality of both private and public services as well as ensure better consistency and service and pave the way for new opportunities. This places high demands on data, which must be of high quality, up-to-date and easy to reuse. That is why we operate, among other things, Datavejviser.dk, which is a catalog of available data from the public sector. The aim is to make access to public data simpler for companies, researchers, authorities and civil society. We are continuously working to make more data from the public sector available and described in the catalogue. Much of the work with Datavejviser therefore takes place in close collaboration with other Danish authorities that collect and display data. As our new colleague, one of your main tasks will be to contribute to the maintenance and further development of the Data Directory. Among other things, this involves tasks within: operation and development of Data Directory, including creation and maintenance of metadata about the data displayed on Data Directory analysis and communication tasks in relation to secondary use of public data implementation of EU regulation, especially in relation to the Open Data Directive authority dialogue and stakeholder management. About you Does this sound like something for you? We would like our future colleague to have a relevant higher education, e.g. cand.scient.pol, cand.scient.polit, cand.it, cand.merc, or similar. It is an advantage if you have experience from a politically controlled organisation, but we also appreciate experiences from completely different contexts that can give us new perspectives on the tasks. You will be employed according to the collective agreement for academics in the state and will be placed as a clerk with the opportunity to negotiate supplements based on your qualifications. The area of employment is the Ministry of Digitization with associated institutions, currently Department of the Ministry of Digitalisation, the Agency for Digitalisation and Statistics Denmark.
