Job Description
We are looking for a finance employee for a key function in an organization that advises managers and employees on the working environment and working life in the Municipality of Copenhagen.
Working Environment Copenhagen (AMK) is Copenhagen Municipality's internal working environment advisor. We are looking for a finance employee who can ensure good financial operations and that Working Environment Copenhagen's funds are used in the best possible way to create a good working environment in the Municipality of Copenhagen.
The task is versatile and complex. Working environment Copenhagen is financed, among other things, by a basic grant as well as a number of project grants and the purchase of tasks from Copenhagen Municipality's administrations. This creates a complex economy where, across many activities, we must ensure that the funds are used for the correct purposes.
As a finance employee, you are therefore a central figure in the organization and will be responsible for both budget and accounting tasks. You have contact points for the project managers, the administration, the management, central finance functions and the administrations that collaborate with Arbejdsmiljø Copenhagen. Working environment Copenhagen has approx. 70 employees with different educational backgrounds.
The position has both exciting professional challenges and offers the opportunity to develop and shape the financial management in collaboration with the management and Arbejdsmiljø Copenhagen's other employees. You will have the opportunity to work with AMK's financial management and work processes in order to ensure transparent and efficient financial management.
We are looking for a finance employee who
has strong expertise in financial management and can see connections across a complex organisation
can translate financial management and processes to employees with other skills
is systems and data strong and can see finances as part of the overall management in AMK – and can contribute to further developing AMK's reporting
can work with connections between e.g. finances, time registration and collaboration agreements
can handle many areas of collaboration and use his financial expertise to create good processes.
The position is anchored in the Working Environment Copenhagen secretariat, where we support and help the rest of the organisation. The secretariat works, among other things, with finance, IT, HR, course support, project support and many other tasks that make Arbejdsmiljø Copenhagen a well-run organization in day-to-day life.
Your primary tasks are
Support budgeting and budget follow-up. Monthly financial follow-up and year-end, both parts of AMK's projects as well as other grants.
Ongoing processing of incoming invoices and invoicing. Main responsible for accounting of expenses in Arbejdsmiljø Copenhagen.
Preparation, preparation and review of period results and budget follow-up.
Develop and further develop AMK's financial management and flow so that they support AMK's core task.
Daily dialogue with e.g. administration and management to ensure good workflows around AMK's finances.
Develop AMK's reporting to administrations, management and project managers, in collaboration with colleagues in the secretariat.
Daily financial management, e.g. ensuring correct accounting in AMK's financial management.
Your qualifications
We expect you to have a relevant education in economics. You must have shown that you can thrive in an everyday life with many actors and a large throughput of tasks. You must be able to be the central link between everyday financial tasks and overall financial management.
In addition to a solid basic expertise in finance, you must be able to think across the board and see how finance is linked to the core business. Your areas of cooperation are both in AMK and with the Center for Economy and Quality in the Health and Care Administration, of which AMK is a part.
It is a clear advantage to have experience with financial management from a municipality. And then you must be able to fit in at a workplace where the mood is good and commitment is high.

Salary and terms of employment
The position is full-time and is wanted to be filled as soon as possible and no later than 1 June.
Your salary will follow the relevant collective agreement and you will be employed by Copenhagen Municipality, the Health and Care Administration. The workplace is at Arbejdsmiljø Copenhagen, Enghavevej in Kbh. SW.
