Request for a Civil Engineer (Project Survey) in Corfu

The construction company based in Corfu and many years of experience in the study and construction of high-demand private building projects wishes to hire a Civil Engineer for the position of Site Works Supervisor. The candidate will join the construction project management team at the company's offices in Corfu for permanent, full-time work. Responsibilities: Organization and management of construction crews Monitoring with on-site visits to the projects, the progress of the work and adherence to the schedule Quality control and implementation of construction plans and studies Monitoring compliance with the required safety and health standards Compilation of pre-measurements and measurements Receiving and evaluation of offers from suppliers and subcontractors Costing and compilation of project budgets Preparation and sending of techno-economics tenders Communication with suppliers, subcontractors, engineers and designers Cooperation with the customer's supervising engineers Maintaining a project file Requirements Civil Engineering Degree AEI or TEI (specialization in structural engineering will be appreciated) Experience in managing, organizing and costing construction projects Good knowledge of English Good knowledge and use of PC: MS Office, 2D design programs (knowledge of Archicad will be appreciated) Communication skills and ability to coordinate with the team, customers and other stakeholders Ability to deal with technical issues and challenges Driver's license Benefits Competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
