Newly created Engineer position in a utility company in exciting development.
Kalundborg Forsyning is not like many other utilities. It is a multi-supply, and there are also many large companies in Kalundborg, among other things, well over half of the world's insulin is produced in Kalundborg Forsyning's backyard. This places great demands on Kalundborg Forsyning and concretely means that up to 90 percent of our operations are not conventional supply operations.
With its central location in Kalundborg, close to Novo Nordisk, Kalundborg Forsyning is at the forefront when it comes to both water supply and wastewater treatment. At the same time, Kalundborg Forsyning is both concerned with and involved in green transition and innovation at an advanced level. In order to strengthen the water area and at the same time ensure a continued high level vis-à-vis partners, a water specialist with a strong background is wanted. You will be part of a team of 13 academics/specialists, each of whom is a specialist in their field.
It is expected that you contribute significantly to the development of the water team in operations and come with good collaboration skills that ensure effective and flexible coordination between operational staff and colleagues in the Planning and Project Department.
Kalundborg Forsyning is ISO certified in Quality, Environment, Food Safety and Working Environment. It is therefore expected that you help lead the way and show the way, so that we continually improve ourselves and the water supply of the future. Thereby we can ensure a high quality and service for our customers.
Your primary work areas will be to:

Be coordinator of quality assurance of key tasks such as water boreholes, transport lines, water works and distribution systems.
Be a coordinator in our DDS team (Documented Drinking Water Safety). This group ranges professionally from operation, plan and project.
Ensure compliance, develop and maintain the ISO 22000 system.
Monitor current water quality, plan and implement test programs and secure data.
Uncover possible process improvements for quality and capacity of the facilities.
Contribute operational experience to renovation plans.
Handling customer inquiries for new and existing customers
Support for operational staff

You will become part of Driften in Kalundborg Forsyning, where the ceiling is high and where the colleagues are good at looking after each other. The total operating organization consists of approx. 50 employees with a wide range of expertise – everything from craftsmen, specialists, engineers and operators to special workers.
That is our expectation
You have a relevant engineering degree, preferably environment, chemistry, microbiology or process. At the same time, you have solid experience with water or similar from the supply sector, industry or possibly from the advisor side. It is a clear advantage if you are used to cooperating with authorities.
You have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing - and can communicate effectively with all professional groups, colleagues and customers. You have a systematic and data-driven approach to the tasks, while at the same time you manage to stick to the overview. You are very aware of quality and work analytically and structured in relation to this, including compliance with requirements from partners and authorities.

The position is full-time with 37 hours. Employment as soon as possible. You will report to Head of Department Daniel Dahl Christensen. Salary is determined
