Job Description
Production & Performance Engineer Position As a Production & Performance Engineer, you will be part of our Company’s Operations Department. Reporting to P&P Director, you will be responsible to many missions related to contract management, BOP maintenance management, Asset integration as well as performance analysis & reporting. You will be based in Athens , Greece. Position Status Full Time, Open-ended Employment Contract depending on candidate’s profile. Duties & responsibilities Your daily activities will include, and you will be familiar with: Contract Management Ensure the contract management fulfilling employer’s obligations and following closely the respect of customers’, aggregators’ and contractors’ obligations under the supervision of the P&P Director. Calculate key performance indicators associated with contractors’ obligations. Monitor closely the interventions planned and performed by the contractors with the support of Technical Operations’ local teams. Follow-up issuance of necessary permits and licenses and ensure compliance management with fire service and environmental requirements under the supervision of the P&P Director. BOP maintenance management Collaborate with Technical Operations so as to coordinate external and internal resources for the management of BOP maintenance. Maintain contact with strategic suppliers for technical support under the supervision of the P&P Director. When required, take first contact with part manufacturers/suppliers for part identification and offers. Work closely with purchaser for subsequent follow-up. Ensure road maintenance to allow access to the power plant for the service providers. Supervise certain interventions on BOP, especially those with high added value (e.g. HV substation maintenance). Ensure turbine foundation monitoring. Participate in meetings both internal and with third-parties for analyses associated with BOP technical problems. Asset integration Provide input, analyze and participate in the process of the asset integration(s) managing end-of-warranty or due diligence inspections under the supervision of the P&P Director. Collect the commissioning data and as-built documentation of the power plant. Ensure follow-up of any punchlist created to be resolved during the operational phase. Collect and archive all technical documentation including any electrical diagrams and maintenance manuals provided by the manufacturers. Establish the associated KPIs in the relevant files for the operational phase. Performance analysis & reporting Ensure performance monitoring and analysis under the supervision of the P&P Director. Draft and make available all reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual or ad hoc) with internal and external stakeholders in accordance with contractual obligations and internal procedures. Participate in the Performance Committee and assess the performance of the assets as well as measures for performance enhancement. Fin ancial management Send-out and follow-up claims to the insurance for failures inducing significant loss of income under the supervision of the P&P Director. Manage issuance and transfer of Guaranties of Origin in cooperation with public authorities. Provide all necessary information to lenders and their technical advisors under the supervision of the P&P Director. The missions and responsibilities may evolve and be modified by the Company in relation to the latter's requirements and activities. Requirements Qualified Electrical Engineer Proven experience up to 3-years, ideally in the field of wind and solar energy sector Excellent knowledge of English language required Good knowledge of technology in onshore wind and solar assets Good computer literacy Good technical knowledge with respect to the following: Electrical engineering Electronics SCADA. Valid driver’s license Fulfilled military services (for male candidates) Competencies Ability to identify critical issues, technical, commercial or other. Good judgement and decision making.
