Purchasing Manager

The role: You will coordinate the procurement department, your role involves managing relationships with suppliers, establishing procurement policies and strategies and ensuring a quality supply process to support production. Your responsibilities:-> Market prospecting: Identify the suppliers of raw materials needed by the organization. You evaluate offers to select the best options in terms of quality, cost and delivery. You follow market trends, price fluctuations and developments industry.-> Strategic management: You establish the strategy and policy of purchasing raw materials and consumables.-> Cost analysis and budgeting: You analyze the costs related to purchases and optimize them, while maintaining the quality of the raw material.-> Supplier negotiation: You negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers (prices, payment terms, quantity discounts, delivery schedules)-> Supplier relationship management: Maintain good relations with suppliers through communication efficiency and follow-up. You collaborate with suppliers to solve problems that arise and to ensure that delivery is made on time.-> Inventory management: You collaborate with the production and sales department to monitor raw material stock levels, to anticipate demand and ensure the availability of raw materials without overstocks or stock-outs.-> Quality control: You ensure that the purchased raw materials meet the necessary quality standards and specifications. suppliers any quality problems that arise and oversee returns or replacements.-> Contract management: You manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. You monitor contract expiration dates and negotiate renewals or changes, when necessary.-> Risk management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to supply chain interruptions, supplier problems or market fluctuations that could affect the procurement process.-> Collaboration: You work closely with the production, sales, finance departments to ensure that procurement activities align with the organization's objectives and operational needs.-> Ethical compliance: Respect ethical standards and regulations related to procurement activities, ensuring correct and transparent practices.-> Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes in the procurement department, streamline workflows and implement the best practices.
