Job Description
Ensuring timely supply of products to fulfill customer orders and meeting sales department forecasts. Collaborating with internal departments to balance customer needs with the company's ability to deliver profitably. Coordinating actions necessary to resolve customer quality, cost and delivery issues. Communicating with field sales team to change customer and market information, ensuring a focused and responsive service level. Managing critical production situations, identifying alternative solutions that meet delivery deadlines and cost constraints. Collecting and coordinating information from distribution centers to support the sales team in minimizing delivery issues. Monitoring supply chain and production delays to meet customer delivery deadlines. Processing and verifying customer requests, orders, schedules and forecasts to meet goals and maximize sales. Identifying sales opportunities based on product availability. Prepare accurate offers based on customer requests. Use technical and product knowledge to provide alternative solutions. Anticipate customer buying trends and proactively reach out to create sales opportunities. Use databases and systems to determine brand, acceptable margins checking the availability of deliveries.Managing backorders through new, reliable delivery times.Creating and updating price lists.Monitoring customer orders to maximize sales and meet monthly targets.Analyzing customer order patterns and trends using tools such as Mistral or Salesforce.Performing detailed monthly analysis of sales and profits for customer accounts, comparing the results with the division budgets. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the sales/sales support department. Foreign languages: Advanced knowledge of English and Italian. Adaptability to changes: Openness to organizational changes And cultural and new approaches that help to achieve goals and improve results. Personal and team development: Ability to continuously learn and share knowledge and experience with colleagues to help them develop. Skills Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively and with a firm attitude. Technical Skills: Understanding of technical and product literature, including knowledge of product codes (eg bearings). IT Skills: Effective use of office software (Microsoft Office) and commercial, logistics and quality programs. Decisions and problem solving: Ability to make rational decisions and solve problems effectively, having good analytical thinking. Effective communication: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and orally, with all colleagues and clients. Willingness to learn and adapt: Be open to change and new information to stay up to date with the latest developments.
