Desk technician
is responsible for providing technical support to users, solving problems related to hardware, software and network resources, as well as maintaining the technical infrastructure. This position requires quick response to reported technical problems and efficient resolution of them, as well as implementation of additional parameters via phone calls, email and other communication channels.

As a member of our team, your ability to recognize and understand the needs of our users will be key. Together with the team, you will work to create an environment where our users can rely on you for all technical issues. Our mission is to provide users with not only technical assistance, but also a friendly, patient approach that leaves a positive impression.

Regular activities:

Receiving and solving technical problems of users:
The user's first contact with the IT team via phone, email or internal support system (ticketing system).

Analysis and diagnosis of problems:
Analysis of reported technical problems and their resolution in the shortest possible time, all in accordance with contractual obligations.

Installation and adjustment of equipment:
Installation of operating systems, applications, setting up computers, peripherals, and network resources.

Customer support:
User training for the use of software tools, systems and new technologies.

Updating and maintaining the database:
Tracking the history of problem reports, resolving and documenting all activities in internal tracking systems.

System performance monitoring:
Proactive monitoring and resolution of potential problems with network and IT infrastructure resources.

IT equipment inventory maintenance:
Monitoring equipment condition and providing inventory when necessary, as well as timely reporting.

Repair and replacement of hardware components
:
Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions of hardware components.

Qualifications:

Secondary or higher education in the field of computing, information technology or a similar field

Experience in working with users and providing technical support

Knowledge of basic IT systems and applications (Windows, Linux, Office package, networks)

Knowledge of the basic principles of network technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP)

Knowledge of the English language

Driving license category B (active driver)
