JP/Politikens Hus is looking for a Group Controller for the group's finance function. In Group finance, you have overall responsibility for the group's financial reporting, including responsibility for building, maintaining and implementing supporting IT systems at many different levels. In addition, you are responsible for ensuring that systems and business processes are compliant.

The tasks will be wide-ranging and include, among other things: 

Drive process improvements on systems (customer-facing sales systems, ERP, workflow, Publishing system, Salary, etc.).  
Analyzing business processes, identifying inefficiencies and identifying areas for optimization
Design and test business procedures
Initiate end-to-end process changes and communicate change initiatives and guidelines
Participation in month-ends, reports and budget process
Back-up for colleagues in the department.

You will have a large contact surface in the house and the tasks must be solved both independently and in close sparring with competent colleagues in the group. You will also have regular contact with the group's businesses and the group management.
The candidate:
You currently work as a controller and have a good broad foundation within accounting and finance, and the points below are highly valued: 
* Educational level can be HD (R), Cand. Merc. Aud,  or similar. However, the most important thing is practical experience both with financial tasks and system implementation
* System-strong and experienced user of Excel and other Office products
* Accustomed to working with large amounts of data

* Creates calmness and an overview, and is good at driving processes and tasks to completion 
As a person, you are structured and good at planning and have a personal drive that ensures progress. You must be motivated by delivering quality on time and you can handle having several balls in the air at the same time. The group's businesses are diverse, which is why the individual tasks also require some adaptation to the situation. It is of course an advantage if you speak Danish and English and with a lot of activity in Norway and Sweden it is an advantage to have knowledge of the Nordic languages, but often Danish or English will work just fine.
